Painters Greenhouse

Love visiting Painters Greenhouse. Lots of plants at reasonable prices and they take good care of them. The folks who work there are very helpful. Just wish it weren't so far away.

I love this place! I've been buying my plants here for a few years now and have never been disappointed. They have a wide variety of exotic and basic house plants as well as great selection of outdoor decorative plants, shrubs and flowers. I also buy vegetable plants and herbs for growing in my garden. They are very strong and healthy and usually cost cheaper than ones that are sold in the garden centers of big stores.

The MOST knowledgable staff ever!!! I had Ashley assist me and she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable person!!! The green house has a large variety of all shorts of plants, shrubs and trees. The service is personnel and upfront. Support local that is far more deserving !!!

Visited this greenhouse on our way from Asheville to Raleigh. As an advanced hobbyist, I was disappointed by the lack of rare plants but they do have a large selection of the normal indoor plants and outdoor plants. The staff seemed friendly as well. I strongly feel that they should have more bigger philodendrons and fancier monsteras.

A treasure in seemingly the middle of no where. Super friendly staff, huge selection, plants for all budgets, and just a lovely set up in general. If you are looking for a reasonably priced greenhouse, This is the place to go in Asheville. The farmer's market greenhouse is far more expensive in comparison to this one ($1 plants here were $4 each at the farmer's market). I think there was a smaller selection of edible herbs like chives and whatnot, but overall a far better bang for your buck and worth the drive out.
